009. Show Up

Howdy and happy Just the TIP Tuesday folks! I am so glad you tip toed on over to my blog today because if you're currently feeling stuck in any area of your life, today’s tip “SHOW UP” is just what you need!

Woody says it best, “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” Mr. Allen really nailed this one!  If you don’t show up, you aren’t even giving yourself a chance to succeed in life.

You can’t rely on luck to get you where you want to go. Start taking chances, get out and be more active and above all SHOW UP more often!

Whether it's showing up for an interview for a new job opportunity, showing up to class for your workout, showing up for a friends event, or showing up for your significant other in new ways that you haven’t in the past, take the first step and SHOW UP.

To make it easier, pick ONE area of your life you'd like to commit to seeing new results and simply start showing up! You'll already be halfway to the destination you're trying to reach. Since my life revolves around health and fitness, I'll use an example from class. I always tell my clients at the gym when we start the workout, they've already done step one by showing up!  Now all we have to do is finish what we started and we'll all be on our way to a happier, healthier version of ourselves.

Nothing will ever change if you don’t change your current habits and behavior patterns.

If you're feeling stagnant in your current relationship and looking for some ways you can SHOW UP differently for your partner, try these 3 tips!

1. Take an interest in your partners likes and dislikes! For example, if you know their favorite sports team, you can surprise them with tickets to a game!

2. Love your partner for who they are, as well as who they're not. You always want to make your partner feel like they're enough, so to accept your significant other in all forms is an amazing way to show you care.

3. Just be there. To listen and to help in whatever way is needed. When your partner is sick, try making a care package with a few of their favorite things…movies, soups, tunes, etc!

Thanks again for stopping by and remember, the more we show up for life…the more "good" shows up for us!

Love you all!

With gratitude,

Lauren
