021. Begin Again

Happy Tuesday folks! Today’s TIP is “Begin Again

When it comes to social media, 99.9% of the time I am posting inspirational quotes and videos. I do this with intention. My hope is to inspire people to live happier, healthier lives.

I am constantly inspired by other people’s accomplishments that they post on social media and that is why I choose to follow certain people.

If I am being real though, just because my posts are always positive doesn’t mean I have it all figured out. It's a daily practice. If I skip any of my routine, whether that be working out, reading, hiking, yoga, meditation, church - whatever method I choose to use on a daily basis...if I skip, I get derailed. I get off track. It is normal. So never let this get you down for too long.

The difference for me now is awareness.  Having awareness allows me to redirect myself and get back on track quicker than in the past.

I also know that sometimes we are going to have bad days.  Days when you just aren’t in flow, BUT a bad day doesn't equal a bad life and you get the opportunity of a restart at any moment of your choosing.

For me, when I need a restart I use one of these daily practices:

1.    Yoga

2.    Meditation

3.    Church

4.    Workout

5.    Hike

6.    Read

7.    Call a friend or family member

8.    Go for a walk

9.    Take a nap

I am sure you all have your own methods for recharging your batteries so whatever those are, when you feel yourself getting off track…stop, take a deep breath and decide which method you would like to use and make it happen!

Restart! Recharge!! Begin again!
